What's new on TV
It is well known that Charmed will not be be returning after it's 6th season. This it due to the fact that our lovely Rose McGowan (Paige Matthews) will not sign a contract for another season.

Also UPN's Buffy the Vampire Slayer has come to an end with it's 7th season. Re-runs are still on FX and UPN.

On to other news, Angel will return to its regular timeslot, Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT, in the fall. It looks as though our deer Charisma Carpenter (Cordellia Chase)will not be returning next season thought if not to busy might return for some closure for her character.

Angel (David Borneanaz) will be teaming up with his fellow vampire, with a soul, Spike (James Marsters) in the upcoming 5th season of the WB's Angel. Co-creater of Angel, Joss Whedon, says he can't really give you much of a hint as to how Spike will be integrated into the show.

Whedon also says that former Buffy the Vampire Slayer supporting player Mercedes McNab (Harmony) will join the Angel cast as a recurring character, along with a second, as-yet-uncast, new recurring female character will join James Marsters on the show. "Well, Spike and Harmony do have a history," Whedon said, referring to the vampire duo's affair on Buffy. "But that doesn't mean they'll necessarily hook up. It just means we love Mercedes, and we want to see more of her."

Whedon added that big changes are in store for the character of Charles Gunn, played by J. August Richards-a transformation that was foreshadowed in last season's finale. "Yeah, he's going to go through some interesting changes," Whedon said. "And we thought Wolfram & Hart would be the perfect venue to find a new side of him."

In the coming fifth season, Angel will move out of its hotel set into a swanky, new set representing the Wolfram & Hart law firm.

What's new with the Stars
Eliza Dushku is starring this fall in Fox's new show Tru Calling. Tru Calling is about a college student with power to relive the last 24 hours. With the ending of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, our favorite kid sister Dawn (played by Michelle Tractenberg) is moving on with her life and co-staring in a movie. Also James Marsters has signed to star in a film adaptation of the West End play Italian Heat. Marsters will join Sean Bean and Derek Jacobi for the film, set in fascist Italy. The drama unfolds when two male refugees discover a couple whose marriage is on the rocks, and decide to seduce them. Marsters will play the refugee who seduces the husband, a prospect he at first balked at. Marsters says "I was all excited about it and I went to my manager and said, 'Do I have to kiss a guy?' And he's like, 'Oh, yeah.' And I was like, 'Argggh!'," "And then I read the script and there was so much more than kissing that I froze up for a while. I started making my own personal connection to it, and so I feel like I can play that role. "I'm less terrified than I was two months ago. Two months ago, I probably wouldn't have wanted to talk about it, but you don't refuse a film like that. It's a really great script and I'm looking forward to it."
